Savius verdict: pros, cons and who it suits
Our take in one line: Savius offers a static drawdown (on some plans) and no activation fee; the catch is an intraday trailing drawdown (on some plans).
Pros
- Static drawdown (on some plans): the loss floor never moves up
- No activation fee after you pass
- No news-trading window in evaluation or funded accounts
Cons
- Intraday trailing drawdown (on some plans): the floor follows unrealised peaks
- Hard daily loss limit: one bad day fails the account
- 20–30% consistency rule in the evaluation (raises the target if one day is too big)
- 20–30% consistency rule on funded payouts
- Funded account is limited to 3 payouts
- Data fee of $90 per month
- Funded account fee of $90 per month
Best for
- News traders
Avoid if
- You sometimes have one big red day
- You make most of your profit on one or two big days
- You hold positions overnight
Every point is worked out from one rule field in our data (see the rules below); empty fields are left out, not guessed. Where a plan differs, the point says “on some plans”. Check “What we could not fully verify” further down before you buy. Not financial advice.
Regulation: No financial-regulator licence found. Evaluation fees are not covered by investor compensation. Funded accounts start simulated per the firm’s terms; only some traders move to a live account.

If you pass on the first try: $259
Each extra try counted as a reset at $69.
Most traders need more than one try. Firm-reported figures: The Funded Trader said 5–10% of its challenges are passed (Finance Magnates), and FPFX Tech data showed that about 7% of traders reached a payout (Finance Magnates, September 2024). At a 10% pass rate you need 10 tries per pass on average (1 ÷ 10%). These are not figures for Savius.
Payout buffer: Instant Funded Evolution: minimum payout $250, first payout needs the profit target

Rules that decide pass or fail
The rules that end most Savius evaluations and funded accounts. Main program unless noted.
- Max drawdown
- Trailing intraday
- Drawdown lock
- Unverified — Instant Funded Evolution: intraday trailing max drawdown on peak equity (incl. unrealised) in the first cycle; from the second cycle the floor is static at the cycle starting balance + $1 (FAQ also repeats the intraday trailing wording for later cycles). One Step Trailing EOD follows the highest EOD balance; Fixed EOD has a static floor.
- Daily loss limit
- Hard: breaching it fails the account; measured from start-of-day balance; resets 16:15 US Central (25K: $400 · 50K: $800 · 100K: $1,300 · 150K: $2,000 · 300K: $4,000) — Instant Funded Evolution: Daily Max DD is a hard breach measured from the daily starting balance (25K $400, 50K $800, 100K $1,300, 150K $2,000, 300K $4,000), resets 16:15 CT. Not stated for the One Step Evaluation.

One Step: +5% profit at EOD close, 10 trading days and 30% consistency to prequalify (buffer lost on funded breach); Live buffer carry-over capped at $10,000 in aggregate.
- Move to live
- After 3 consecutive payouts (Instant) or at the third checkpoint (One Step) the trader may be moved to a Live account at Savius' discretion after a review/call; base live funding $2,000-$4,000 by size plus retained payout buffer; one Live account per trader, other accounts are disabled.

What you may trade and how
- News trading

- Weekend holding
- Not allowed
- Overnight holding
- Not allowed — No overnight or weekend positions. Open positions must be closed manually before 15:55 US Central; open positions at that time are automatically liquidated and the challenge is closed. Pending limit/stop orders left open no longer cause a rule violation (since 7 Oct 2025) but a fill that causes a drawdown breach still fails the account. Trading resumes 17:00 US Central.
- Automation / EAs
- Restricted — Prohibited: automatic third-party trading systems/bots and order management systems other than those provided by the supported platforms. Trade copying between your own challenges (up to 3) is allowed, Volumetrica web copier recommended.
- Accounts you may hold
- Unverified — Instant Funded Evolution: max 3 per user. One Step: up to 20 active Timed Evaluations at once (extras wait as pending, expire after 90 days); up to 5 active funded accounts in total across One Step and Instant Funded Evolution, at most 3 of them Instant Funded. What we could not fully verify (12)
- One Step prices are 'Launch' prices (limited launch pricing). Original prices $109/$119/$159/$179 are higher. The One Step page says the launch price applies 'with coupon at checkout' without naming a code; the homepage shows it as a plain price. Stored prices are the launch prices.
- One Step Fixed EOD drawdown figures conflict: the pricing cards say '$800 Fixed Drawdown' (50K) and '$1,600 EOD Fixed Drawdown' (100K) but with static floors of $48,400 and $97,600 (i.e. $1,600 and $2,400 below the start). The FAQ calls $800/$1,600 'Available Daily Margin' that resets at EOD close. maxDrawdownUsd stores 800/1,600 (Fixed) and 1,500/2,500 (Trailing); no daily loss limit is stated separately for One Step, so dailyLossLimitUsd is null.
- Drawdown type mapping: Instant Funded Evolution max drawdown is intraday trailing on peak equity incl. unrealised P&L (FAQ), but the FAQ also says it is no longer trailing from the second cycle (static floor = cycle starting balance + $1). Firm-level type uses the first-cycle trailing_intraday. One Step: Trailing EOD -> eod; Fixed EOD stored as static (static floor measured at EOD); whole funded phase uses the EOD Fixed model per FAQ.
- Time limit conflict: homepage says 'No time limits' (Instant Funded Evolution), while the One Step Evaluation has a 30-calendar-day Timed Evaluation. timeLimitDays is therefore per tier (0 for Instant, 30 for One Step) and null at firm level.
- Instant Funded Evolution profitTargetUsd stores the 'Target Payout' (profit needed before the first payout), not an evaluation target; there is no evaluation on that product.
- Daily loss limit exists on Instant Funded Evolution (hard breach on daily starting balance, resets 16:15 US Central) but is not stated for the One Step Evaluation, so hasDailyLossLimit is null at firm level.
- Activation fee: explicitly $0 only for the One Step Evaluation. Not stated for Instant Funded Evolution (no evaluation step). activationFeeAmount left null.
- Platforms: homepage logos list dxFeed, ATAS, Quantower, Volumetrica, DeepChart; FAQ states licences for DeepChart and DeepDom (Volumetrica), ATAS and Quantower. The One Step platform section gives no details.
- Commissions / symbol list: the 'Size and Commissions' table (savius.com/table-commissions/) showed no symbols or commission figures when read, so commission fields are null.
- Profit split text differs by page: the Instant FAQ says 90% in the demo phase and 80% on Live; the Live-account FAQ says 'Bi-weekly payouts on a 80/20 split'; the One Step page says 90% after 3 checkpoints incl. Live.
- Live-transition criteria are discretionary ('no single threshold'); Live capital terms are negotiated case by case.
- Terms contain no revision date (page metadata 2026-07-28 only) and name no country list of restricted jurisdictions, only sanctions lists (OFAC).

Savius consistency rule
Evaluation: 20% / 30% (varies by plan) — best day measured as a share of total profit; going over it raises the profit target. Funded payouts: 20% / 30% (varies by plan) — best day measured as a share of total profit; going over it raises the profit target. Details: Instant Funded Evolution: 20% (best trading day <= 20% of profit, required on every payout cycle; if broken the new target = best day / 0.20 added to the starting balance). One Step Evaluation: 30% (best day <= 30% of total profit), stays active for payout approval until Live. Account Live: no consistency rule.
