Editorial and corrections policy
The rules we hold ourselves to. See also About and the methodology.
Sources, in order of priority
- The firm’s own rules, terms and pricing pages.
- The firm’s help center, configurator or checkout.
- Clearly dated secondary sources, labelled as such, used only when a firm does not publish a value.
Where sources disagree the firm’s own rules page wins. Unconfirmed values are shown as “Unverified”.
Verification cadence
A nightly audit compares firm pages with our stored data. Changes are flagged for manual review rather than silently overwritten, and every firm shows the date it was last verified.
Conflicts of interest
We earn commissions from some firms and receive discount codes from some. We disclose this on the site (how we make money). Commission, affiliate status and payments never influence which firms are listed, what rules we show, or the order of any table. A firm cannot pay to be listed, removed or ranked higher.
How rankings and sort orders work
Tables are sorted by data fields: price, target-to-drawdown ratio, price per $1,000 of drawdown or name. Commission is never an input. “Cheapest” is not a recommendation; read the rules first.
Reported events
Suspensions, ownership changes, rule changes and similar events come from third parties. We show them with a source as information only. We do not verify them and they never change a firm’s trust label or position.
Corrections
To request a correction, send the firm, product, page and a link to the firm’s own rules. A public contact address is coming soon. We check the claim against the firm’s site, correct confirmed errors promptly and update the “last verified” date. Firms may also ask for corrections; the same standard applies and we do not remove accurate but unflattering information.
Updates
We commit to keeping data current and to revising this policy when our practice changes. Material changes to how we collect, verify or order data will be reflected here and in the methodology.
