TradeXProp verdict: pros, cons and who it suits
Our take in one line: TradeXProp offers a static drawdown and no activation fee; the catch is a hard daily loss limit.
Pros
- Static drawdown: the loss floor never moves up
- No activation fee after you pass
- No evaluation time limit
- No minimum number of trading days
Cons
- Hard daily loss limit: one bad day fails the account
- 45% consistency rule in the evaluation
- 45% consistency rule on funded payouts
Best for
- Patient traders who do not want a deadline
- Swing traders (overnight and weekend holding allowed)
Avoid if
- You sometimes have one big red day
- You make most of your profit on one or two big days
Every point is worked out from one rule field in our data (see the rules below); empty fields are left out, not guessed. Where a plan differs, the point says “on some plans”. Check “What we could not fully verify” further down before you buy. Not financial advice.
Regulation: No financial-regulator licence found. Evaluation fees are not covered by investor compensation.

If you pass on the first try: $615
Each extra try counted as a new evaluation at $615 (reset fee unverified).
Most traders need more than one try. Firm-reported figures: The Funded Trader said 5–10% of its challenges are passed (Finance Magnates), and FPFX Tech data showed that about 7% of traders reached a payout (Finance Magnates, September 2024). At a 10% pass rate you need 10 tries per pass on average (1 ÷ 10%). These are not figures for TradeXProp.
Payout buffer: Forex: funded account in net profit, no active breaches, 45% consistency.

What we could not fully verify (11)
- Program/tab labels confirmed on the homepage pricing widget on 2026-10-18: outer tabs 'Forex' and 'Crypto', inner tabs 'X-1 Step' and 'X-2 Step', then sizes. Forex: 1-Step $5K-$400K, 2-Step $5K-$400K; Crypto: 1-Step $5K-$200K, 2-Step $5K-$200K. Earlier draft assignment of price blocks was correct; all 26 stored prices/targets/drawdowns match the draft.
- Dollar values for profit target, max drawdown and daily loss are the site's stated percentages x account size (Forex 1-Step 10% / 6% static / 5% daily; Forex 2-Step 8% then 5% / 8% static / 5% daily; Crypto 1-Step 9% / 6% static / +/-3% daily cap; Crypto 2-Step 6% then 9% / 9% static / +/-3% daily cap). Prices are the 'One Time Fee' shown with '$' only (stored as USD); no strikethrough or discount price shown on the widget.
- Crypto daily limit is a '+/-3% Daily Cap' (positions closed and account locked until 5 PM EST), not a breach-type daily loss limit; stored in dailyLossLimitUsd. Forex daily loss limit is 5% of the higher of prior EOD balance/equity, reset 5 PM EST, hard breach.
- Instant Funded X ($5K $200, $10K $400, $25K $1,125, $50K $2,500, $100K $5,000; 5% daily on prior-day balance, 8% max trailing drawdown on CLOSED BALANCE locking at the starting balance after a withdrawal or 8% return, flat for the weekend by 3:45 PM EST Friday, inactivity 30 days, EAs allowed, split 80% / 90% with add-on) is NOT stored: closed-balance trailing is neither trailing_intraday nor eod in the schema, and the earlier draft mapped it to 'eod' without support.
- Consistency rule (45% of profit target in evaluation, 45% of total profit for payouts, 5 PM EST equity snapshots) applies to Forex plans only (new plans from 2025-04-16); Crypto FAQ states none.
- Payouts: Forex funded: bi-weekly (every 14 days from activation/last payout), net profit, no breaches, 45% consistency; Crypto: first withdrawal any time, then once per 30 days; Instant X: min greater of $100 or 1% of balance, once per 30 days. Funded accounts have no profit target. Minimum payout for Forex/Crypto and payout methods not stated.
- News: opening a position within 3 minutes before/after news events is prohibited (position closed/P&L removed, leverage cut or breach) on Forex and Crypto; stored newsTradingAllowed false. EAs: Forex/Instant FAQs allow automated strategies, but Terms of Use prohibit EAs that facilitate copy trading; treated as restricted.
- Weekend holding allowed on Forex/Crypto evaluation and funded accounts. Inactivity: 30 consecutive days without trading = breach.
- Fee refund: refund policy says no refund once login details are emailed, except in special cases where no trades were placed. Terms: Prop Account, LLC (d/b/a Dashboard Analytix, Forest Park FX LTD, Prop Account Cayman LC) with arbitration in Florida; the refund page says Tradexprop is an affiliate of Prop Account, LLC, which provides the assessments and the Trader Agreement.
- Restricted countries: Forex FAQ excludes OFAC-listed countries only (no list read again this session); stored restrictedCountries null.
- Homepage shows a 'Spooky' promo banner in the earlier draft; no code or discount was present in the pricing widget on 2026-10-18.
