- Profit split
- 90/10 (new traders on the updated dashboard keep 100% of their first $10,000 lifetime profit, then 90/10). Live Funded Account: 90/10.
- Payouts
- On request, no fixed cycle. XFA Standard: 5 winning days of $150+ net P&L per payout. XFA Consistency path: 3 trading days + 40% consistency target. Live Funded: 5 winning days of $150+ per cycle; after 30 winning days daily payouts. Minimum payout $125. XFA caps (Standard/Consistency): 50K $2,000/$3,000; 100K $3,000/$4,000; 150K $5,000/$6,000; also max 50% of balance. Live: uncapped.
- Payout buffer
- No mandatory minimum balance after payout is stated; payouts capped at 50% of balance (and the per-size caps above). Max Loss Limit resets permanently to $0 after a payout, so remaining balance becomes the floor. Min payout $125. Topstep recommends reaching a balance where MLL is at $0 before taking payouts.
- Consistency
- 55% — Trading Combine: best single day must stay at or below 55% of the profit target (50K <$1,650; 100K <$3,300; 150K <$4,950); exceeding it raises the required target. XFA Standard path: no consistency rule, needs 5 winning days of $150+. XFA Consistency path: largest day <= 40% of total net profit, min 3 trading days.
- Contract scaling
- Combine max position: 50K = 5 minis/50 micros; 100K = 10/100; 150K = 15/150. XFA uses a Scaling Plan based on account balance (e.g. 50K XFA starts at 2 lots); max contracts do not increase mid-session. Full XFA scaling table not verified (chart image only).

What we could not fully verify
- Price of $49/$99/$199 is the monthly Combine subscription (recurring until passed); activation fee $149 is paid after passing. Combine is a monthly subscription, not a one-time eval fee.
- DLL ($1,000/$2,000/$3,000) is OPTIONAL at purchase in Combine and XFA, mandatory on Live Funded. hasDailyLossLimit=true is therefore partially true.
- Reset fee equals the monthly Combine price for that size per topstep.com; no separate fixed number, so resetFeeUsd is null.
- Minimum trading days for Combine not confirmed (help page says pass 'in as few as two days'); 3 days required for XFA Consistency path.
- Data fee not found. Platforms: only TopstepX confirmed; help text implies other platforms exist for some accounts but not listed.
- Payout caps differ slightly between XFA rules page ($5,000/$6,000 headline) and payout policy (per-size table); per-size table used.
- News trading is allowed but trades affected by economic releases get no exception/reset credit.
- No public affiliate signup page found on topstep.com (program exists via third-party network per search results; not verified).
- Topstep Back2Funded reactivation fees (50K $599, 100K $699, 150K $829) exist for accounts lost before first payout.
- Changed 7 Oct: re-confirmed on topstep.com/no-activation-fee that Combine is billed monthly ($49/$99/$199 'per month', price locked until funded) and XFA activation fee is $149 (standard path) or $0 (No Activation Fee path, 50K $95/month; 100K/150K NAF prices not rendered); evalBilling=monthly
- resetFeeUsd=49 is the 50K reset fee shown on the page; reset fee equals monthly price per size (49/99/199)
- Promo: no public code; 15% referral-code program only (single-use, per-user codes)
